Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Poole

EFT is an effective ‘tapping’ technique derived from ancient shiatsu and acupuncture methods. Its aim is to reverse negative traumas which interrupt the flow of energy within the body and reverse it back to a harmonious state. It can involve the therapist touching safe areas of the body but can also be achieved by mirroring. The tapping techniques can be used discretely outside of the therapeutic space and be used to calm down nerves, anxious thoughts and is often used for sports people, actors, for public speaking and other such professions.

Please note: An eclectic mix of therapeutic approaches and any of our emotional wellness techniques may be used in the sessions by mutual agreement. The aim of therapy is to create an honest, congruent relationship with your therapist so it is important that you find the right one.
